Lifetime warranty
Every Lone Peregrin product is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for its entire working life. The warranty follows the tool, not the buyer — if it changes hands, is passed down, or is bought secondhand, it is still covered. If something fails because of how it was made — a bad heat treat, a loose handle, a flaw in the steel, stitching that gives way — it will be repaired or replaced. There is no time limit and no registration to fill out.
This covers the product, not the use of it. Normal wear is not a defect: a blade sharpened down over years of work, a handle darkened with handling, leather that has softened and taken shape — these are signs the tool has done its job. Damage from prying, throwing, striking steel or stone, dishwashers, or grinding done elsewhere is not covered either, though a repair quote is always available.
Axe handles. Every haft is chosen and shaped by hand, but wood is a natural material and can hide small flaws in the grain that are invisible from the outside. If a handle breaks because of a defect in the wood itself, it is covered and will be rehafted at no charge. A handle broken by overstrike — the swing that lands short and catches the haft on the edge of the log — is not a material failure and is not covered. Rehafting is offered as a paid service in that case, at any point in the tool's life.
Saw blades. Saw blades are consumables and replaceable by the owner. They are not covered by this warranty.
Making a claim. Send photos of the item and a description of what happened to gear@loneperegrin.com. No receipt is required.
